Alias: deserves its own post

Alias starts again next week Thursday 8/7 Central on ABC!

Did I forget to mention I just put down a deposit for the new 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. Thus far I still plan on taking the bus to work, as parking is something like $100 per month.

What color are you getting? I like how the colors are basically shades of white and black, with a random blue thrown in there for the adventurous types.

Yeah. That really bothers me, plus they have to pretend it's cool by giving them weird names like 'Sand Mica' or 'Evergreen Flint' which translate into tan or green or some such. It's so silly. Unfortunately, all the cars being ordered for manufacture for the Brookdale Honda dealership are going to be silver (and I think if I recall correctly, all the other dealerships in town I called were already booked for October waiting list). So, I got silver. It was either going to be silver or blue anyway. Blue is just a nice calming coloer.

ooh fun! mind if i ask how pricey those are? i'm so going hybrid once the 98 accord kicks out.

what time is alias on? i use to watch that show all the time when it was sundays, but the switch to weekdays messed me up.

It's 20K-ish. A 'little' more, and er..well...I went for the nav system, as it was not much more than already. Accords are significantly more, I thought.

Alias is on 8/7 central Thursdays. I thought it was always Sunday last season. But anyway, you can buy the DVDs, and I think the earlier seasons are better.

I didn't know there was a nav system option for the Civic. Interesting.

What is the gas mileage going to be?

Yeah...Kris was all pushing me to get it, but then backed off when he became afraid his opinion might actually sway me. I was all against it (on the basis that it would be 'excessive') but then the sales guy turned it on and showed it to us and i was so cool and not that much more..

I hear it'll be 50/50, but the official unveiling of the 2006 Hybrids is not until October (although mine ..heehee, mine) is scheduled to be manufactured and done this Wednesday!

Yeah, I don't think I could resist a nav system now, after having seen the one in the Prius. I hate navigating alone, and I'm usually alone when I drive, so it'd be hard to justify not getting it if the option were available.

When are you actually going to get the car?

I actually rather like navigating, as I like to believe I have a magickal sense of direction unique from all others.

About three weeks from now, according to the sales guy.
